The successful incumbent will be working as part of our vibrant team at REDHS. This is a fixed term part time role of 0.4 – 0.6 FTE (negotiable) for a period of 12 months initially, with a potential to extend depending on funding. This position will report to the Allied Health Team Leader and will be based with our Allied Health team in Elmore, whilst our health service is being rebuilt. The successful applicant will have relevant qualification in public health, health promotion, social sciences, community welfare or human resources and / or equivalent extensive experience ideally gained in a diverse service industry organisation.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to work as part of our vibrant Community Care team. This is a permanent part time role of 32 hours per fortnight. Flexible work arrangements are available for this role with the hours being worked during school times, as compounded days or as shorter working weeks.
Following the floods in October last year, this position will be based with our Allied Health team in Elmore initially, whilst our health service is being rebuilt. This position will work across Acute, Transitional Care, Outpatients, Group exercise programs and residential care. Our Allied Health team are in a period of growth, prgression and expansion, and it's an exciting time to be part of an organisation that makes a difference to the lives of others.
The successful applicant will have a Certificate IV in Allied Health or equivalent and demonstrate their ability to support allied health professionals in planning, preparing, implementation, evaluating and reviewing activities required for individual therapy, groups and programs with an added interest in developing skills in foot care under supervision of a qualified Podiatrist.
Applicants must be willing to provide a current Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening check and to keep our residents, patients and clients safe, evidence of three COVID-19 vaccinations and a current FluVax.

We are seeking an enthusiastic New Graduate, Grade One or Grade Two Physiotherapist to work as part of our vibrant Community Care team. This is an permanent part time role of 72 hours per fortnight, however flexible working arrangements will be considered including working school hours, compounded days and shorter working weeks.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent), demonstrated experience in the provision of timely and appropriate physiotherapy services, well-developed organisational skills and be registered with Medicare as a service provider.
Salary range: $34.34 - 50.46 per hour, dependent on experience.
To keep our residents and clients safe, applicants must be willing to provide a current Police Check, Working with Children Check, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, evidence of three COVID-19 and a current influenza vaccination.

Occupational Therapist - New Graduate or Grade One

New graduates will be eligible to apply for the $15,000 Victorian Government Occupational Therapy Student Grant.
We are seeking an enthusiastic New Graduate or Grade One Occupational Therapist to work as part of our vibrant Community Care team. This is an ongoing part time role of 48 hours per fortnight, with flexible working arrangements available including working school hours, compounded days or shorter weeks.
Following the floods in October last year, this position will be based with our Allied Health team in Elmore initially, whilst our health service is being rebuilt. The successful Occupational Therapist will provide services to inpatients, outpatients, transitional care program and community care clients (Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Home and Community Care, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Medicare Benefits Scheme eligible and Home Care Packages) of Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) and at our temporary health facilities.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent), demonstrated experience in the provision of timely and appropriate OT services, well-developed organisational skills and be registered with Medicare as a service provider.
Salary range: $34.33 - 43.87 per hour, dependent on experience.

Enrolled Nurses - Casual
Echuca and Tongala facilities
REDHS are seeking motivated Level 2 Casual Enrolled Nurses to join our team at Aged Care facilities in Echuca and Tongala. The positions will be located in Echuca or Tongala until REDHS' Yalukang Aged Care facility is reinstated following the floods of last year. You will use your excellent clinical skills and experience to ensure our residents receive the best care possible.

As a nurse within Aged Care you will utilise a resident centred issue solving approach to the planning and delivery of nursing care, ensuring the privacy and dignity of residents is maintained at all times. You will develop effective relationships with residents, their families/carers and members of the health care team.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), be medication endorsed and have broad clinical experience. You must be available to work all shifts across Aged Care.
Base Salary Range (casual rate) $40.48 - 44.56 per hour (plus casual loading)
