This role has plenty of diversity including; processing of HR, payroll and training documentation; coordinating advertising, recruitment and on boarding of new staff; WorkCover administration; coordination of student placements and systems administration.

The successful applicant will have exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently to monitor and complete tasks and a discrete and professional manner when dealing with sensitive HR issues.

This role reports directly to the Director People & Culture and will be supported by an experienced HR Officer.

Maintenance Assistant - Qualified, Experienced or Trainee

Permanent Part Time - 32 hrs/fortnight

REDHS' are seeking an enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant to join our team. Applications are encouraged from applicants trade qualified, or experienced in general maintenance and gardening, or those interested in commencing a career in this field by being supported to complete a Certificate III in Horticulture traineeship. The primary function of this role is to perform general and preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. Such duties will include a range of gardening functions, painting and basic repair work. The position will include delivering Home Care Gardening services to members of our community.

Allied Health Assistant - Elmore location

Following the floods in October last year, this position will be based with our Allied Health team in Elmore initially, whilst our health service is being rebuilt. This position will work across Acute, Transitional Care, Outpatients, Group exercise programs and residential care.  Our Allied Health team are in a period of growth, prgression and expansion, and it's an exciting time to be part of an organisation that makes a difference to the lives of others.

The successful applicant will have a Certificate IV in Allied Health or equivalent and demonstrate their ability to support allied health professionals in planning, preparing, implementation, evaluating and reviewing activities required for individual therapy, groups and programs with an added interest in developing skills in foot care under supervision of a qualified Podiatrist.

We are seeking an enthusiastic New Graduate, Grade One or Grade Two Physiotherapist to work as part of our vibrant Community Care team. This is an permanent part time role of 72 hours per fortnight, however flexible working arrangements will be considered including working school hours, compounded days and shorter working weeks.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent), demonstrated experience in the provision of timely and appropriate physiotherapy services, well-developed organisational skills and be registered with Medicare as a service provider. 

Salary range: $34.34 - 50.46 per hour, dependent on experience.

Occupational Therapist - New Graduate or Grade One

Permanent Part Time - 48 hours per fortnight- Flexible working arrangements available

Elmore location

New graduates will be eligible to apply for the $15,000 Victorian Government Occupational Therapy Student Grant.

We are seeking an enthusiastic New Graduate or Grade One Occupational Therapist to work as part of our vibrant Community Care team. This is an ongoing part time role of 48 hours per fortnight, with flexible working arrangements available including working school hours, compounded days or shorter weeks.

Following the floods in October last year, this position will be based with our Allied Health team in Elmore initially, whilst our health service is being rebuilt. The successful Occupational Therapist will provide services to inpatients, outpatients, transitional care program and community care clients (Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Home and Community Care, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Medicare Benefits Scheme eligible and Home Care Packages) of Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) and at our temporary health facilities.  

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent), demonstrated experience in the provision of timely and appropriate OT services, well-developed organisational skills and be registered with Medicare as a service provider. 

Salary range: $34.33 - 43.87 per hour, dependent on experience.

Rochester and Elmore District Health Service (REDHS) is situated in Rochester which is the gateway to the mighty Murray River region and close to the regional centres of Echuca, Bendigo and Shepparton. At REDHS our team provides a diverse range of services for our local communities including Urgent Care, Acute Care, Residential Aged Care, Community Nursing, Allied Health and Home Care Services. 

Our facility was impacted by the October 2022 flood and we had to change how and where we deliver our services.  We cannot express enough how proud we are of our amazing team who worked together and dedicated themselves to ensure our community continued to receive high quality healthcare services. Enrolled Nurses - Casual

Echuca and Tongala facilities

REDHS are seeking motivated Level 2 Casual Enrolled Nurses to join our team at Aged Care facilities in Echuca and Tongala.  The positions will be located in Echuca or Tongala until REDHS' Yalukang Aged Care facility is reinstated following the floods of last year. You will use your excellent clinical skills and experience to ensure our residents receive the best care possible.  

The successful applicants will bring the following:

• Experience in Aged Care Nursing
• Excellent clinical skills
• Excellent patient-centred care and assessment skills
• Strong communication skills
• Enthusiastic Team Worker

As a nurse within Aged Care you will utilise a resident centred issue solving approach to the planning and delivery of nursing care, ensuring the privacy and dignity of residents is maintained at all times.  You will develop effective relationships with residents, their families/carers and members of the health care team.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), be medication endorsed and have broad clinical experience.  You must be available to work all shifts across Aged Care.

Base Salary Range (casual rate) $40.48 - 44.56 per hour (plus casual loading)

EN Level 2 Year 1 - EN Level 2 Year 6 (IB66-IB95)

To keep our residents and vistors safe, applicants must be willing to provide a current Police Check, Working with Children Check and evidence of three COVID-19 vaccinations and a current influenza vaccination.

All REDHS employees will need to clock on and off for their shifts using a mobile phone app.
